Bucolo Cold Storage, Inc. has been supplying fre sh apples to domestic and export markets since 1961. Packing starts in early August and continues through the following July. The packaging and storage facilities use new technology to assure a consistent high quality finished product. Strict quality control programs are followed at all times. Transportation of fruit is handled with company owned Air-Ride refrigerated trucks.
Our grower base consists of approximately 40 growers with over 4,000 acres of farmland dedicated to apples.  Favorable soil conditions, rainfall and temperatures coupled with growers using enhanced growing practices, makes them among the finest in the country. McIntosh, Empire, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Cortland, Crispin, Tydeman Red, Aceymac, Idared, Ginger Gold, Jerseymac, Jonagold, Spartamac, and Paulared are the commercial varieties grown.
Bucolo Cold Storage, Inc. strives to expand with retailers, wholesalers and specialized markets that believe in quality partnerships. We currently ship to grocery chains in Northeast, Southeast and Midwestern states as well as overseas.
